I could create a style with the front of the hair in victory rolls, and the rest of the hair down in loose curls. This creates an effective 1940’s look, but I feel it is very simple. The simplicity of this design will not allow me to really showcase my skill set.

French pleat

Alternatively, I could create a french pleat, or vertical roll. This look could also incorporate victory rolls, or vintage twists, at the front of the hair. This style is much more complex, but it is not my strongest skill. Although I enjoy creating this look, It is not my most confident skill – and must ensure I create the best work possible, for my assesment.

Continuous roll

Furthermore, I could create a Continuous roll. Using rollers to set the hair, I could create a roll by hand in the front of the hair, and use padding to create the roll at the back. Not only do I feel more confident with this style, but I can also showcase multiple techniques with this look, so feel it would be a strong choice.
