Initial designs

Here, I have documented my first three initial designs.

Design 1 – Third degree burns

In this face plan, I have created a 1940’s typical makeup look, with a third degree burn. In this design, I have planned to create a 1940’s base makeup, with simple brown eyeshadow and a red lip. I have intended to add a realistic touch to this design by adding smudged lipstick, and running mascara. I have also incorporated a third degree burn across the face.

Design 2 – Bullet wound

In this plan, I have focused on a gunshot wound. I plan to create a typical 1940’s glam, with brown eyeshadow and red lipstick. Then plan to create an exit bullet wound on the forehead, with blood dripping down the face. I also intend to add realism by creating bloodshot eyes, adding blood around the nose and mouth, and smudging the lipstick.

Design 3 – Lacerations

In this design, I plan to focus on laceration and scratch wounds. My intentions are to have two deeper lacerations through the face, across the center and near the lip. Then I plan to add scratches and scrapes around the rest of the face. I also intend to add minimal bruising around the eyes. The plan is to create this illusion over a typical 1940’s makeup base, with minimal eyeshadow and red lipstick.
