Part-time College Courses

For this task, I have been asked to research in to progression opportunities after college, rather than University. Some students may choose to broaden their skill set before entering industry, focusing on learning additional skills such as hair dressing, barbering, nails, beauty, or aesthetics. One of the best ways to do this would be to continue studying at college, on a part-time course.

Attending a part time course in one of these sectors will allow you to widen your service options, creating great options for the future. Furthermore, being able to offer all services is a great benefit, as I am sure a bride would rather pay one person to do everything (hair, makeup, nails, skin prep, massages etc.) than paying a whole range of different companies – as they would most likely save much more money by doing this.

This can be a great route to take before entering the industry, as you will be pulling in a wider range of clientele. These courses can be expensive, however unlike short courses these fees can be covered by loans and grants from the government.
