Summary

So far from my research, I have determined the negative stigmas that surround mental health, have mainly spread throughout the mainstream media. All media sources, from news papers to movies, are part of this problem, even tough some are now beginning to take responsibility and improve the messages they put out in to the world.

I am intending to use this to my benefit, and research in to how I can create the most effective makeup look possible, in order to post on my social media channels and help raise awareness towards this subject. It is important to me that I do not only create this look for my FMP, but actually use it as a way to spread information, and awareness to this subject. As mentioned in my introduction, I have strong personal ties to these subjects, so I feel very strongly about breaking the negative stigmas around these disorders, in order to help those who are struggling, and educate those who do not.

I have also explored the different kinds of editorial, and editorial sources which will help me identify what specific things to research within my developed research stages. This will help me ensure I research the correct materials, in order to create the most effective final image.
